Today I listened to Glen Beck, of the Fox News Network, and I was quite surprised at what he had to say. That the listening public should "not trust him, but trust ourselves." That we should throw open the window, and yell, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore." Or, be prepared to pay $116,000.00 for your families share of the cost of this bailout!
Me, personally, I've had my window open for sometime, and been yelling ever since. But, like the halls of justice are deaf, dumb and blind, I am finding that the halls of Congress are just the same!
I know that when the bailout was first proposed, the Congressmen were swamped with letter, phone calls, emails and petitioners saying "NO BAILOUTS". But they have gone unheeded, as Congress prepare for another round of trillion dollar bailouts, and the treasury presses continue printing the funny money!
I have a radical idea! It's all based on a 'concept'. That concept chose gold to be the standard of this economical concept. Well, it wasn't always like that. In the beginning, it was what the locals considered worthy of their demand. Like some used dentalia shells, others used beads. And soon that's all our dollar will be worth; a handful of beads.
Or rather, a handful of seeds maybe the standard in the perfect economy. All locally sown, grown and gathered for public consumption. I wonder if the government will accept this as my payment choice for the $116,000.00 they expect me to pay for their concept?
